Post Horn – Love Talisman

This vintage 9ct gold post horn symbolises the priority of communication in relationships and supports the same.

With full 9ct gold hallmarks for London, 1974, this talisman is 47 years old and is in spectacular condition! In the 18–19th centuries, post horns signaled the arrival of and cleared the way for, mail coaches. Post was the primary, sometimes only form of communication for people not able to talk face to face. The post horn is a symbol for clear communication and understanding. An especially powerful talisman for those in long-distance relationships, encouraging regular, clear, mutually understood conversation and contact.

This talisman has been created from a vintage solid gold piece, transformed into a magickal talisman through specific ritual magick at a carefully astrologically elected time.

You may well see scratches, dents and small marks on your talisman due to its age and former life. This only adds to the authenticity and unique nature of the piece. None of the Ouroboros Limited Editions are brand new and each piece is carefully inspected by our master goldsmith and jeweler in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. He then refurbishes each piece to wearable condition, polishes and securely solders the jump ring in place.

I chose this date, as there are many favourable indicators in relation to love. To begin with, there is a powerful conjunction (where the planets concerned are conjoined in the zodiac in the sky) between Venus/Aphrodite (the Goddess of love, beauty, attraction and harmony) and Mars/Ares (the God of passion, lust and erotic desire). It is only Venus who can soften and soothe the sharp edges of Mars, and only Mars who is able to awaken the latent sensual desires of Venus. The time that I specifically chose for this cosmic marriage is when they are together in the 7th house (house of partnership, marriage and relationships.) There is also a trine (a harmonious aspect of 120 degrees) between the Venus and Mars conjunction with the Moon (emotions) in Taurus, indicating an emotional stability and security in the affairs of the heart (Venus) and desires (Mars). The conjunction between Venus and Mars is also closely conjunct the planet Pluto (planet of transformation and regeneration) which flavours the love with depth and the potential to transform the individuals involved. Another optimistic configuration in this chart is the conjunction between the Sun (the self, vitality and creativity) with Jupiter(optimism, joy) in the sign of Pisces in the 9th house, this conjunction indicates joy, expansion and self-growth for the persons concerned.
