This talisman has been created from a vintage rolled gold piece, transformed into a magickal talisman through specific ritual magick at a carefully astrologically elected time. Rolled gold is rare, highly durable material found only in vintage pieces. It is a material that has 1/20th of pure 14 kt gold content by weight. The material is made by pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14 kt pure gold to a core of high quality jeweller’s brass, creating a durable material which has a high quantity of ‘pure gold’. It is significantly more durable than gold plating and has a very high percentage of pure gold in it.
You may well see scratches, dents and small marks on your talisman due to its age and former life. This only adds to the authenticity and unique nature of the piece. None of the Ouroboros Limited Editions are brand new and each piece is carefully inspected by our master goldsmith and jeweler in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. He then refurbishes each piece to wearable condition, polishes and securely solders the jump ring in place.
So much more than a piece of jewellery, this talisman is a personal piece of magickal power.
The final image is a picture taken of your talisman during the magickal ritual.

When choosing this date I was looking for a harmonious aspect between Saturn and Mars. I chose Saturn for its association with boundaries and authority, and Mars for its reputation as being a Warrior and a protector. However, whereas Mars can be rash and impulsive in its desire to protect, Saturn is subdued and considered in its desire to protect, therefore, the wisdom and sobriety of Saturn is a stabilising influence upon Mars. In the chart, these two planets are in close conjunction (conjoined together) in the 4th house and the IC (ileum colei) The 4th house and IC at the bottom of the chart are associated with the home, therefore indicating the protection of one’s home, but the 4th house and IC are also associated with one’s deepest and hidden self and the need for protection of our more soft and vulnerable feelings (which is why Cancer, the sign associated with this house is represented by the crab, it’s soft insides protected by its tough outer shell.) This house is also associated with family, and ancestors, with Saturn and Mars conjoined in this house, we are being protected by our ancestors. The conjunction of Saturn and Mars is also very close to the IC (which is also associated with our roots) just as a tree requires strong roots to prevent it from toppling over in life’s storms, we also need strong roots to remain protected from life’s storms, which is why I specifically chose the time when this close Saturn-Mars conjunction moved into the 4th house. Saturn is also in a very dignified position by being placed in Aquarius, the sign which it traditionally rules, affording Saturn with the additional strength and power to protect.
