Holy Qu’ran

This is a truly special and sacred antique piece; a tiny gold Qu’ran, made from 14ct gold with cloisonne work in gold and enamel. Sourced from my favourite dealer in Islamic antiquities in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, this piece is estimated to be at least 100 years old and contains the original paper pages.  

Miniature Holy books were carried as the original talismans, often with specific passages from the texts inside. The Quran is one of the most beautiful, sacred and significant texts ever written and has been used as a talisman since its creation. This is a museum quality piece transformed into a love talisman.
